What is AirZyme™?

AirZyme™ is a fragrance-free scientifically formulated enzyme blend designed to eliminate tough organic odors such as tobacco smoke, food, pet and more. It removes annoying odors from rooms, hallways, restaurants, bars, automobiles – anywhere odors are a problem. The natural ingredients make it a safe alternative to air fresheners. It contains no propellants, CFCs, or perfumes.

How do I use AirZyme™?

AirZyme™ is very easy and safe to use. Simply spray areas and surfaces where odor problems exist. Because AirZyme™ does not contain propellants (it does not travel through air), it must be sprayed thoroughly where odor problems exist. Treatment with a fogging system is recommended for larger areas or hard to reach areas.

AirZyme™ is completely non-toxic and contains no harsh chemicals. No special clothing is necessary for application. AirZyme™ is not harmful to the user and does not require special ventilation. It is safe around people, pets, children, and even food.

Where can AirZyme™ be used?

AirZyme™ can be used on almost any surface where odor problems exist: clothes, carpet, drapes, ceiling tiles, pet bedding, decorative pillows, automobile interiors, and HVAC filters. AirZyme™ can be used on any surface not harmed by brief contact with water mist.

Because the all natural enzyme formula is non-toxic, fragrance free, and hypoallergenic, AirZyme makes a great alternative to industrial fresheners for businesses.

Commercial Applications include:

  • Hotel rooms
  • Restaurants
  • Conference rooms and banquet halls
  • Bars and lounges
  • Furniture
  • Exercise rooms and locker facilities
  • Carpets and drapes
  • Automobiles, buses and trucks

AirZyme™ is most effective when applied as part of a normal cleaning and maintenance routine. Each time a room/area is cleaned, apply AirZyme™ with a sprayer or fogger to control odors. Rooms can be kept odor-free for pennies per day!

Can AirZyme™ be used with wet foggers?

Yes. AirZyme™ is compatible with most wet foggers and pressure sprayers: pressurized, mechanical, and manual. However AirZyme™ cannot be used with thermal foggers, steam or in temperatures in excess of 130 °F (54.5 °C).

Will AirZyme™ stain or damage clothes, other fabrics or carpet?

Yes. AirZyme™ is safe for carpet, furniture, fabrics or any other surface not harmed by brief contact with water mist. However it is always a good policy to test any product on an inconspicuous area if you are unsure.

Is AirZyme™ environmetally safe?

Yes. AirZyme™ is environmentally safe and biodegradable. In fact, the natural enzymes in AirZyme are safe enough to use around pets and children. All EcoDiscoveries products are non-toxic and do not contain any hazardous chemicals.

Will it harm plants or animals?

No. Unlike other commercial deodorizers, AirZyme™ is safe for humans, animals, plant and marine life. One of our favorite uses is on pet bedding.

Does AirZyme™ need special disposal?

No. Most people use up their AirZyme then order more. Should you have extra to dispose of, a kitchen drain or toilet is fine. The enzymes are safe for plumbing and septic tanks. In some cases they can help dissolve organic matter trapped in pipes.

Should I mix AirZyme™ with other chemicals?

No, do not mix AirZyme™ with any other chemicals. It is never safe to mix cleaning products. Caustic chemicals will destroy the enzymes

What is the shelf-life of AirZyme™?

Under normal conditions and good storage practices, the shelf-life of AirZyme™ is about 2 years. Do not allow AirZyme to freeze or boil. Good storage practices for any cleaning product include keeping the product at a stable temperature and out of the reach of children.
