Our laundry liquid is 100% natural and safe for you and the earth, made from the fruit of the soapberry tree.  It penetrates deeply and gently into your clothes to lift away grime, odors, saop scum, chemical residue, and hard water deposits.
 
Humans have safely used Soap Nuts for washing for 5000 years (chemical detergents have only been tested for the last 100 years!)  More than a physical cleanser, in Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine Soap Nuts are considered to be a healing, spiritual wash used to treat irritated and inflammatory skin disorders.  When you wash with Maggie's Soap Nuts your clothes get clean, feel soft, and are allergy-free.
 
Suggested Use: Use 1 oz. for normal loads of laundry.  Use more for heavy soiils or extra large loads.  Less for light loads. HE Washers: use 1/2 oz. Handwashables: Use 1 Tablespoon in a sink full of water.
Stains: apply directly and generously to the stain and allow to penetrate for several minutes.  Sparkling whites: Separate your colors.  Add oxygen bleach, if necessary.  Leaves fabric naturally soft.  Happy Washing!
