So many of us have children and our most important job as a parent is to protect our children. We have all become aware of the dangerous that face our children at any age. Babies who are faced with our concerns with sids, safe nipples, bottles and pacifiers. Everyday we hear about things that we use in everyday life that could harm our growing children.
Pregnancy
As pregnant mothers, it could be the things we put on our bodies as well as the things we eat so we must always be ready to learn about the items
that come into contact with us and our children. We should be aware of the chemicals that are in our cosmetics and skin care items and search for safe alternatives so that we will always be around to protect our babies since we are their best advocate.
Babies
We should consider safe BPA and phthalate free nipples, pacifiers and bottles for when our babies are very small so we can keep them safe when they are so vulnerable. (We are going to offer new safe teethers, pacifiers and nipples in the future.) Babies are our most precious resource and it is imperative that we protect them. Chemicals and fragrances used in laundry detergents, fabric softeners, shampoos, soaps, and other common household products are causing adverse health effects such as asthma, allergies, dermatitis, ear infections and gastrointestinal disturbances. Could it be that someday SIDS will be named among these conditions? Can we really afford to dismiss these questions when safer alternatives exist? We MUST ensure the health of our children and grandchildren. Protect your little ones by buying safe alternatives.
Preschool and School Aged Children
As our children grow up and begin attending schools, we have new concerns that arise. We are obviously concerned with the people and children they come into contact as well as the environmental factors that surround them.
We should be aware of the products we use to send them lunch - which we obviously want to lead and BPA free - we are proud to introduce waste free reusable lunch kits and also offering wonderful stainless steel containers that eliminate the worry about whether the plastic bags or containers we are using are safe or not. Also we should be concerned with the environmental future for our children - so we should try to eliminate the waste that we produce by recycling and reusing, hence our lunch kits.
